ATF announces that the Arson and Explosives National Repository is now providing statistical arson and explosive information to the public via the Internet. Data from the ATF, the FBI, and the U.S. Fire Administration is currently available.

High-tech arson training

ATF signs Memorandum of Agreement to produce state-of-the-art CD-ROM/virtual-reality arson investigation training program. It will provide consistent practices and procedures to insurance, fire and criminal investigations.

Protecting our youth

The Youth Crime Gun Interdiction Initiative aims to reduce youth firearms violence. The 17-city project develops information about illegal firearms trafficking to young people and new methods of reducing illegal supply of firearms to them.
