Revolution snaps Burn's streak at five

FOXBORO, Mass.--Chiquinho Conde scored one goal and set up another to lead the New England Revolution (8-4) to a 3-1 victory over the Dallas Burn (7-5) Sunday in front of 10,242 at Foxboro Stadium.

The Revolution trailed by a goal at halftime, to a Dallas team that had not lost a game this season in which they had scored first. Conde outleaped the Dallas defense in the 63rd minute to head a cross from Ted Chronopoulos into the net for the equalizer. Two minutes later, substitute Imad Baba broke down the right side and launched a 20-yard shot that dipped between the outstretched hands of goalkeeper Mark Dodd and ended the Burn's league-high five-game winning streak.

New England's final tally, in the 82nd minute, started with a well-timed run from Conde onto a long ball from the back. Conde dribbled some 25 yards into the penalty area, drawing the Dallas defenders and Dodd before slipping a pass across the area to Baba for the uncontested finish.

Ted Eck gave Dallas a 1-0 lead in the 41st minute, off an assist by Alain Sutter.
