Here We Stand
- The cornerstone of Liberalism is our belief in the value of men and women as individuals. Each person is an equal citizen, with rights and responsibilities by virtue of that citizenship.
- Liberals believe that freedom of the individual is paramount, always providing that such freedom does not exploit or infringe another’s freedom.
- The Liberal Party aims to build a society in which every citizen shall possess liberty, property and security, and none shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity. Our chief care is for the rights and opportunities of the individual, and in all spheres we set freedom first.
