System Architect/Lead Developer:
The system architect will report directly to the CTO, be responsible for all
high-level design decisions across the full range of application services and
provide development support to senior programmers. The position requires
extensive experience designing and developing Internet and/or client-server
applications, with at least 5 years of general programming, 2 years of object
oriented programming and 2 years of database programming experience. The
position requires excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving
skills. Candidates will be avid readers of technology trade journals.
SQL Database Administrator:
Candidate will be responsible for database administration functions for MS
SQL Server 6.5 databases in both development and production environments.
Ability and interest in database design and development a plus.
Administration functions include tuning, optimizing, troubleshooting,
monitoring, logging, etc.
Candidate will be responsible for developing SQL code and stored procedures
using Microsoft Server T-SQL. Requirements include extensive knowledge of
SQL, and 3-5 years database programming experience.
Candidate will be responsible for managing developers of a complex
Database-driven web-site with a sophisticated e-mail component. Candidate
must possess web expertise and 2+ years of experience as a project manager, system
analyst, system architect, or lead developer. Candidate should have
experience with MS Project and strong management and interpersonal skills.
NT System Administrator:
Candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, configuration
and troubleshooting of applications on several multi-processor Intel
servers comprising a sophisticated Web site. Requirements include
extensive knowledge of Windows NT 4.0, TCP-IP, Web servers, drive arrays,
Marketing and Product Development Information Manager:
Candidate will be responsible for processing information requests from
financial and marketing team in a cross-functional position between
technology, marketing and product development. Candidate must know
and understand SQL with strong database knowledge. A background in
data analysis or statistics marketing preferred. Internet experience a plus.

Jr. and Sr. positions available for Visual Basic, C/C++ programmers.
New Business Development
Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for entrepreneurial, Web-savvy,

Member Services Assistant: Exciting opportunity for a college graduate to
join our team. Primary responsibilities include corresponding with
sixdegrees members and administrative tasks, as well as the potential for
participating in on-going customer service, public relations and marketing
projects. Candidate should have excellent oral and written communication
skills, as well as a solid knowledge of the Internet/WWW, various e-mail
programs, Excel and Word. This is an entry-level position for a
self-starter who possesses a passion for the web and new media.
Internships/Part Time Jobs
Internships and part time jobs are available for College students for all semesters.
Responsibilities will include assisting in consumer response, marketing
and public relations projects as well as administrative tasks. Candidates
should have excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency
in Microsoft Word and Excel, have some knowledge of the Internet/WWW and
various email programs. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a
strong desire to learn as well as the motivation to be a part of an entrepreneurial

interested in acting as editor of a sixdegrees e-zine featuring original
content which will be sent to our members on a monthly basis. The candidate
should be Web-savvy, have some editing experience, be an excellent writer
and have contacts with individuals who might be interested in contributing
to the publication. Candidates should have their own computer and access
to the Internet/WWW. The project is part time and candidate must be able to
