Alpha Steerer*

Carbon Placement in the stressful area: 1. butting(light blue area), 2. rooting(dark blue area)
All alpha Q carbon forks are made with alpha steerers which are manufactured with a unique technology developed by AME.
* US Patent, issued on June 9, 1998
AME's Q forks are manufactured in California and now recognized as the best carbon forks in the market. Alpha Q carbon fork with titanium steerer is the lightest threaded fork and AME's Q fork with carbon graphite steerer is the lightest fork without threads.
To apply advanced materials and engineering science to the enhancement of the quality of bike riding.
AME has been manufacturing alpha Q carbon forks for racing bikes since 1993. Alpha Steerers are used for the forks. The lower section of steerers are stiffened by high modulus carbon fibers (carbon butting technology) and the fibers are connectively placed (carbon rooting technology) to the main body of the fork crown. The inside construction of alpha Q forks is 100% carbon. Three carbon forks are available with chromo, titanium, and carbon graphite steerers.
