Sure, "Scorch" is the aural equivalent of biting tinfoil, but it'll remind you all over again what's wrong with punk rock. Offspring? Green Day? Forget it. The boys in D Generation make glam-rock that thrashes and wails, and they've got bigger balls and better hooks than any punk-rock pretenders. Check out "Frankie," a dose of old-fashioned metal set to a higher speed, and "Capital Offender," which veers toward Cheap Trick pop. Then strap on your platforms and spike up your hair.
