The Teledesic Network will consist of 288 operational satellites, divided into 12 planes, each with 24 satellites. As the satellite planes orbit north-to-south and south-to-north, the Earth rotates underneath. (Large version, 2.2 MB, 10.4 minutes over a 28.8 modem)
