Sony have announced a new 6 CD box set, 'FLEETWOOD MAC, THE COMPLETE BLUE HORIZON SESSIONS  1967 - 1969' due for release on 6th September in the UK. I understand that the package, that includes all five original Blue Horizon Fleetwood Mac albums, plus studio banter, 33 alternate takes or previously unissued tracks, and a 10,000 word essay from producer Mike Vernon, will be released in the USA on Sire!

Peter was recently interviewed on the Jonathan Ross radio show on BBC radio 2, and two numbers from the Friday night set at Guildford '99 were  recorded and aired on Billy Bragg's BBC radio 2 show on Saturday, the 24th of July!

Peter was also featured in a TV show about the year 1969, aired in the UK on Channel 4 on August 7th! Roy Wood, and Carl Wayne, formerly of the band, 'The Move' were also interviewed for this show

As previously reported, 'Destiny Road', the new Peter Green/Splinter Group album, was released in the UK on June 21st. The US release date seems to be July 27th. That is the date reported by online music stores, at any rate! The album was produced by Pete Brown and Splinter Group, and features the following tracks!

Although this site area is devoted to all things Greenlike, I would like to point out a
website about a different if related musician, Danny Kirwan. I think that anyone who has heard 'Then Play On' or the 'Boston' live stuff will know that Danny Kirwan added a dimension to Fleetwood Mac that was not there before. Peter tends to be the focus of the 60s Fleetwood Mac, but I do think that Danny Kirwan was a fragile but unique talent in his own right!

I have recently been looking at a really good site dedicated to Danny Kirwan, run by Chris Frohring. 'The Unofficial Danny Kirwan Website' can be found at
