I love my children, I love my home, and I love Kentucky.
This is why I am running for office.
I want to be your representative to stand up for
- family values
- a strong, stable, and fiscally responsible Commonwealth
- improving the education of our children
- the liberties granted to each of us by our Creator
For more than five years I have been fighting to make a high-quality education available to every Kentucky child, and now the fight must go a step further. While this has been the focus of my efforts of late, education is not my only concern. An inexcusable 40 billion in debt, unfunded pension mandates, and a tax code that scares businesses away to our neighboring states are just a few of the pressing issues before us.
We need a representative that will not back down or allow her principles, or interests of her district, to be bought or traded for by special interests in Frankfort. We need someone with the courage of her convictions, and I believe I am that someone.
I'm asking for your vote on May 22, so that we can share the spirit, ethic, and values of Oldham, Henry, Trimble and Carroll counties to Frankfort and the entire Commonwealth of Kentucky.
