Adults get a Building While Kids Break Legs

Did you know that the Everett School District changed the purpose of the last bond vote and voted to build a new $27 million district office that you never gave them permission to build?  They did it with money you gave them to build SCHOOLS!  Meanwhile, kids are breaking their legs on outdated fields.... This should make you VERY angry.

Four years is long enough

The Everett School Directors serve for 6 years - longer than 99% of all the other districts in the state.  If you serve just two terms, that's nearly equivalent to an entire public school experience for a child.  The board and Superintendent are reluctant to change this and make themselves more accountable more often to the voters.  This change can be done with a simple majority of Directors but the majority on the board think they need 6 years. 

Do they really?
