The County Clerk's office is responsible for marriage licenses, deeds such as grantor's affidavits, occupational license, voter registration, real-estate licenses recorded for public information such as release of liens, mortages, file oil and gas leases, and also death certificates.

The County Clerk’s Office does not have records of birth certificates. Birth Certificates can be obtained at the Clovis Health Office at 12th & Cameo streets in Clovis. Call 505.763.5583 for more information regarding birth certificates. To order a birth certificate, you must be there on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. – 10 am.
