Fond du Lac – As thousands descend on Madison this week to protest the unjust, extreme budget being rammed through in “extraordinary session” by Sen. Randy Hopper and Republicans, local teachers, parents and community leaders will gather to stand in solidarity with their fellow Wisconsinites at the Capitol.
Protestors specifically will shine a spotlight on Randy Hopper for his key role as a member of the powerful Joint Finance Committee in crafting this job-killing budget. Hopper’s budget hurts working families, makes devastating cuts to education and healthcare, raises taxes on seniors and the poor and gives away millions to special interests and out-of-state corporations.
