Elio de Angelis - A tribute
Welcome to my tribute to the Italian F1 driver Elio de Angelis, who died on 15 May 1986 following a testing accident at Paul Ricard in France.
Elio was one of the most sucessful Italian drivers of recent times, and in these pages I hope to recapture some of his most memorable moments for us all to remember with fond affection.
I'm sure these pages will be of interest to anyone who remembers the 1980 glory days of turbo F1 when Elio drove the Sleek black and gold JPS Lotus cars
