Hi, I'm Ray from Xylox, and I'll be your host.
I'm sitting here at the control panel, making sure that the station generator maintains its steady hum. The clock above my right shoulder is permanently stuck at 4:20... but now appears to be melting and dripping numbers down the wall. Relax, you're in the right place.
For the next 90 minutes or so, you will experience what I have found to be the best of MP3.com's electronic psychotropic wizards. This material is definitely among the world's best new electronic/experimental music. There are some amazing, mind-altering sounds in store for you, so make yourself comfortable and enjoy the ride.
In the gray box to the upper left, choose either "Lo Fi" or "Hi Fi". If you are fortunate enough to be tuning in on a Hi Fi band, be sure to wear protective earwear (headphones) at all times.

I'm always looking for great tracks to feature. If you want to recommend an artist or track that you think would fit in with the vibe of this station, just e-mail me from the Xylox artist page at MP3.com

Note that there are no explanations, reviews, or descriptions under any of the track selections. I decided that my time would be better spent searching for and compiling amazing tracks, and putting them here for you to check out too. Reducing the music to a mere collection of words turned out to be time-consuming and unsatisfying when all was said and done.
However, the following could easily apply to each and every piece that I place on the playlist: "this track is among the best electronic/experimental music that you will find on MP3.com, or anywhere else for that matter. Listen to it, download it, tell the artist how much you like his/her work, and show your support by buying one of their CDs. This and every track on the playlist has my own personal seal of approval, which lets you know that it is suitable for turning on, tuning in, and spacing out." These tracks speak for themselves.
