This is an official and binding pronouncement sent out to the peoples of the earth on behalf of the Priesthood leadership of the True and Living Church of Jesus Christ of Saints of The Last Days in Manti, Utah.

God has commanded us by revelation to cease our labors of preaching and warning to errant Israel and the nations of the earth. The day has now arrived that God has shut the mouths of His servants and will begin to do His own work of rendering judgment and calamity upon the wicked and ungodly. In the days of Noah, the time arrived that Noah ceased his warnings and exhortations to a wicked generation and boarded the Ark. It is now time for the rains of destruction to begin to consume the nations of the earth. We pray for the Elect who have been slow to hear, that they will be spared and delivered when the great day of the Almighty punishes the wicked and rebellious.

"But as it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be also at the coming of the Son of Man. For it shall be with them as it was in the days which were before the flood; for until the day that Noah entered into the ark, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be." (JST Matthew 24:44-45)

"And after your testimony cometh wrath and indignation upon the people. For after your testimony cometh the testimony of earthquakes, that shall cause groanings in the midst of her, and men shall fall upon the ground and shall not be able to stand. And also cometh the testimony of the voice of thunderings, and the voice of lightnings, and the voice of tempests, and the voice of the waves of the sea heaving themselves beyond their bounds and all things shall be in commotion; and surely, men's hearts shall fail them; for fear shall come upon all people." (Doctrine and Covenants Section 88:88-90)

"Do you think there is calamity abroad now among the people?" Not much. All we have yet heard and all we have experienced is scarcely a preface to the sermon that is going to be preached. When the testimony of the Elders ceases to be given, and the Lord says to them, "Come home; I will now preach my own sermons to the nations of the earth," all you now know can scarcely be called a preface to the sermon that will be preached with fire and sword, tempests, earthquakes, hail, rain, thunders and lightnings, and fearful destruction. What matters the destruction of a few railway cars? You will hear of magnificent cities, now idolized by the people, sinking in the earth, entombing the inhabitants. The sea will heave itself beyond its bounds, engulphing mighty cities. Famine will spread over the nations, and nation will rise up against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and states against states, in our own country and in foreign lands; and they will destroy each other, caring not for the blood and lives of their neighbours, of their families, or for their own lives. They will be like the Jaredites who preceded the Nephites upon this continent, and will destroy each other to the last man, through the anger that the Devil will place in their hearts, because they have rejected the words of life and are given over to Satan to do whatever he listeth to do with them. You may think that the little you hear of now is grievous; yet the faithful of God's people will see days that will cause them to close their eyes because of the sorrow that will come upon the wicked nations." (Brigham Young, sermon given in Salt Lake City, July 15, 1860. Journal of Discourses, Volume 8, begin page 121)

" Behold, and lo, there are none to deliver you; for ye obeyed not my voice when I called to you out of the heavens; ye believed not my servants, and when they were sent unto you ye received them not. Wherefore, they sealed up the testimony and bound up the law, and ye were delivered over unto darkness. These shall go away into outer darkness, where there is weeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth. Behold the Lord your God hath spoken it. Amen." (Doctrine and Covenants Section 133:71-74)
