Another day, another main event for the People's Champion.

Vince got major heat from the crowd when he said he was in "Sacramento" (not San Jose.) I doubt this makes TV, so I figured I'd just share that with you now.

If you liked what The Big Show did on Raw, you'll like what he did on Smackdown too!

Smackdown Preview (Non-Spoiler)

Click here to find out what will be on Smackdown this week, without the results!

April 4, 2000

By Ian Ross
Editor, IGN Wrestling

Smackdown comes to you from my back yard, San Jose, CA this week. I was at the event live and bring you this preview.

The main event for the show switches several times over the course of the evening. As this is the non-spoiler preview (click here for the Spoilers) I can only tell you that it does involve The Rock. He is the one constant in the main event throughout the show.

Three titles will be on the line this Thursday on Smackdown, beginning with Chris Benoit defending the IC title against Rikishi Phatu. Also, Kurt Angle will be searching for a tag team partner as he attempts to go after some more gold, the two belts currently worn by Edge and Christian. Dean Malenko will defend his Lightweight title against TAKA Michinoku.

T&A; will continue to attempt to climb the tag team ladder, taking on "Those Damn Dudleys." Tazz will take on Perry Saturn, after Saturn interfered in Tazz's title match against Chris Benoit on Raw this week. Head Cheese will take on the Big Boss Man and Bull Buchanan.

The other main happening on Smackdown this week will be the advancement of the new characters adopted by The Big Show and, of course, "Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero. Big Show takes on The Godfather, Eddy cuts a terrific promo with Chyna.
