DIABLO 2 REVIEW - 07/18/00 Zaxxon
We're juiced to present our review of the most-anticipated, most EVIL game
ever, Diablo 2. Here's an excerpt:
Even a sub-avid Diablo-lover should have no trouble reaching
the conclusion of Diablo II and its story. Blizzard
preserved most of what made Diablo great, repackaged it, and
added some brilliant chapters to the story. If you loved the original, you
will at least thoroughly enjoy this much-anticipated but
somewhat-disappointing sequel to one of the gaming industry's most
influential games.

STRATOS GROUP INTERVIEWS STEVE FAWKNER - 07/17/00 Zaxxon
For the last decade, Steve Fawkner has been the lead designer, programmer, and soundtrack composer on the popular Warlords series of games for SSG. Not only does he compose for the Warlords games, but all of SSG's games in the last 9 years have soundtracks composed by Steve. His newest release, Warlords: Battlecry, not only takes place on a new world, Etheria, but also departs from the usual Warlords genre of turn-based strategy, landing in the RTS domain instead. We tracked him down in his hideout down under for a quick chat.
