BotCon is the official convention dedicated to The Transformers® by Hasbro, Inc. It has been held annually since 1994 in different locations around the country. The purpose of BotCon is to provide the fan community with a forum in which to celebrate this enduring toy line. This has been done by combining celebrity guests, exclusive convention-only merchandise, and special events with other fan-centered attractions – art contests and auctions, video showings of cartoon episodes and TF:TM, and dealer rooms where people can find things to complete their collections.
