Michael has served as our Chief Executive Officer and President and a director since June 1998. From October 1990 until June 1998, Michael was employed by Bessemer Venture Partners, where he specialized in the telecommunications, retail and electronic commerce categories. He was a Partner at Bessemer from February 1994 until June 1998. Prior to October 1990, Michael held several executive management positions in various retail organizations. He holds a B.A. from Amherst College, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
