Big news!!

The rust has recently lost some of it's founding fathers, and will be taking the next few months to repair damages and set-backs resulting from those members' departures.

Tim, the short, handsome dude behind the drums, is one of the runaways. He now resides in Budapest, Hungary, where he is working the metal detectors at the U.S. Embassy. Kaleb, the reeeeaaallly handsome dude behind the bass has also left the Rust, though not voluntarily. He is currently incarcerated at the Alachua County Correctional Facility for reasons that we cannot disclose. Lastly, James, the guitarist with all the moves, has... Well, he just quit. He didn't really say why. Will we break up? Hell no!! We're from Florida, man. And Florida bands are infamous for replacing members without even the slightest twinge of remorse. So, as is customary down here, replace we will. And replace we have.

The new line-up:

Floyd. Floyd played bass in Culture, meaning he was one of 84 bassists in Culture. But no doubt the best. We got him to quit his job at the tanning salon to grace us with his four-string craziness. Joe. Same Joe as before. He replaced himself as well as James, and will be the new, old, only guitarist from here on out. Damien will be playing drums and singing, in the tradition of Genesis, The Eagles, and Shotmaker.

When do we emerge all new and improved? When we are damn ready. Probably around February 2001. Look for the new album on Doghouse thereabouts.
