Debian bug tracking system main contents page

The Debian GNU/Linux distribution has a bug tracking system which files details of bugs reported by users and developers. Each bug is given a number, and is kept on file until it is marked as having been dealt with.

Note: some of the previously available indices of bug reports aren't available due to internal problems with the program that generated them. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Each closed bug report is expired from these logs 28 days after the last message relating to it is received and filed. You can search the bug report archive through the forms below, but note that it doesn't contain the oldest closed bug reports (only those after #40000, approximately).
