State of Alabama enumerated by J.D. Carpenter (Boligee Precinct, Mt. Hebron
Precinct); Wm. B. Briggs (East Side River); J.D. Carpenter (Eutaw Precinct,
Forkland Precinct, Garretts Precinct, Knoxville Precinct, Clinton Precinct,
Pleasant Ridge Precinct and Union Precinct), Assistant Marshalls.

Diptheria and sore throat have been more fatal than any other disease.  We
have had pneumonia, also, you will find has been fatal.  Though very few
deaths in the last twelve months.
