Jurassic Park Four Unearthed The third instalment of Spielberg’s Jurassic Park series is currently stomping towards our screens, as Sam Neill and a foolhardy band of dino-watchers return for more prehistoric thrills and spills. But if a third dose of hapless scientists running away from thundering reptile behemoths seems to be taking things a little too far, then what exactly would a fourth helping look like? With Jurassic Park III yet to be released, development on Jurassic Park IV is about to begin. According to the NY Daily News, Steven Spielberg has already given the go ahead to his company Amblin Entertainment, to begin brainstorming ideas for the next episode. The hugely successful franchise was met with phenomenal success at the box office with its first two films, and Spielberg seems so sure of the latest adventure’s success that he isn’t even waiting for the figures to come in before setting out to do it again. But, having turned directing duties over to Jumanji director Joe Johnston, Spielberg won’t be taking back the reigns for the next film. , "From what I understand, Steven is very happy with what he has seen of Joe Johnston's work in three,” said a spokesman for Spielberg. “If there is a four, Steven would again produce it. But Steven is definitely not going to direct any more Jurassics." Thanks to Cinescape. Goldblum Won't Walk With Dinosaurs |
