Kate went to the cottage and used a Will doll to confuse the drug induced Sami. Hysterical, Sami tried to call home but Kate had the line forwarded to Henderson. Sami insisted that she travel back to Salem but Brandon calmed her down. Next, Kate ordered Lucas to put another herbal dose in Sami’s food. He used the Will doll to confuse Sami and she fell out the window. This time, however, she suffered violent seizure and nearly died. Lucas was overcome with emotion and yelled at Victor and Kate for taking it this far. Later, Kate caught Lucas drinking but he assured her that he didn’t have a problem. Meanwhile, Sami learned that Kate, Victor, and Lucas were in Italy. Kate poisoned Sami and lead her out the window, again, with the Will doll. Delirious and dangerously impaired, Sami stumbled towards a cliff…

Austin and Roman finally discovered that Sami was in Europe. At the same time, Lili informed Greta that she had been officially named “Princess Greta Von Amberg.” Austin was taken aback when Greta told him that she was royalty and entitled to 100 million dollars. In order to claim her title and riches, however, she had to travel to Europe (with a single man) and follow the instructions written on a stone.

Greta and Austin flew overseas and traveled to a castle where an eccentric man named Charles greeted them. Greta was surprised when she remembered the setting and recalled how mean Charles was during her childhood. Greta and Austin entered a room and, all of a sudden, they fell through space and landed in a “Virtual Eden!” Greta was tempted to take a bite of an “apple” but attacked the “serpent” instead. The snake later morphed into a vision of Greta’s mother and Austin prevented her from giving in to the temptation. He began a verbal sparring match with the serpent and won.

Meanwhile, in Italy, Moroni learned that Brandon was getting involved with his daughter, Angela. Angela told Brandon that she had proof, on tape, of who killed Roberto – Kate Roberts! They shared a kiss just as Moroni arrived. Brandon managed to convince Moroni that his intentions where honorable and that he wanted to marry Angela. Later, Brandon pulled Sami in for a hot kiss and admitted that he liked playing her lover and hoped they could really get together after all this was over.

Nicole managed to figure out where Lucas and the gang were staying and called Victor to impress him with an insider stock tip. Nicole told Victor that they were a lot a like but he became suspicious when Nicole mentioned going for the “kill.” He confronted Lucas about how much Nicole knew about Franco’s murder. Meanwhile, Nicole contacted Mickey and asked him to “shop” her around to rival publishing companies.

Hope told Bo that she wanted another child and the couple made passionate love. Hope and Bo asked Lexie and Abe to be John’s godparents and were touched when Abe and Lexie asked them to be the godparents of baby Isaac in return. Bo began to distance himself from the baby and Hope was offended when he referred to John as “that child.”

Shawn enlisted Caroline to prevent Bo from going to Ireland. He was adamant about keeping Bo away from anything that had to do with DiMera. Meanwhile, John came over to check on the baby and Hope decided to find out the truth once and for all. At the doctor’s office, she confided in Lexie about Bo’s attitude and her fear for her baby’s health. Later Hope was rattled when a clerk from an art supply store recognized her from her Princess Gina days. Hope confronted Bo about his behavior and he assured her that he didn’t blame Hope for the baby’s illness; he blamed DiMera.

Belle was upset by Chloe’s behavior and convinced that she planned to steal Shawn away from her. Later, she unexpectedly ran into him at dot.com and confessed that he hurt her feelings by not walking her home. Meanwhile at home, Chloe was hurt when she overheard Mimi bad-mouthing her to her Nancy. Craig comforted his daughter and reassured her that she was a good person while Nancy and Mimi had a heart to heart talk downstairs. Later, Nancy was devastated to overhear Chloe admit to Craig that she didn’t feel that close to her.

Belle and Shawn threw the mysterious can into the river and shared a tender moment alone. Jason and Jan were concerned about Chloe’s “witch-like” powers and warned Philip to stay away from her. Mimi was shocked when Jason and Jan told her about the bet. Later, Philip and Chloe opened up to one another and shared their first kiss. Unbeknownst to them, however, Mimi saw the kiss and ran to tell Belle. When Belle learned that Shawn was a part of “the bet” she vowed to never speak to him again.

School began and Jason, Jan, and Mimi were determined to break up the new couple, Chloe and Philip. Chloe was on cloud nine because of her new relationship and anxious to mend her ties with her mom and Mimi. When she learned the truth about the bet (loser takes Chloe), however, she ran off to the docks. Bell, Mimi, Shawn, and Philip searched for Chloe but Brady ran into her first. On the dock, Brady and Chloe exchanged words. When Chloe finally went back home, Nancy’s worry turned into anger and Chloe ran to her room in tears.

Bart convinced Hattie to get plastic surgery so that she could “become” Marlena. When she lost her job at the diner because of her sassy attitude, she agreed to consult with “Doctor Steiner” (Rolf). Unsure about the surgery and upset by her status at the diner, Hattie jumped off the Salem Bridge. Roman witnessed the suicide attempt, dove into the water, and saved her life. Fay stopped by Hattie’s apartment and gave her a pep talk to take control of her life. After the visit, Hattie phoned “Doctor Steiner” and agreed to go through with the operation.

Marlena demanded that John be completely honest with her about his past memories of Stefano and was put on the spot when she specifically asked about being intimate with Princess Gina. At work, Marlena got upset with Nancy for letting a crazed caller through and threatened to replace her as the show screener. The rating continued to plummet but Marlena refused to change the format of her show.

Brady exploded and started to verbally assault John and Marlena. When he accused John of killing Isabella so that he could marry Marlena, John lost his temper and lunged at Brady. Marlena calmed him down and suggested that he tell the truth to help clear the air. Marlena was stunned when John finally confessed that he was baby John’s father. Marlena followed John to the bar where he was engaged in conversation with Hattie. She pulled him outside and demanded that Brady leave the house immediately.
