Row 1: (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in 5th ch.
Row 2: Ch 4, turn, 2 dc in the first dc, ch 2, 3 dc under ch 2 space, (ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) under CENTER ch 2 space (THIS WILL FORM THE POINT), ch 2, 3 dc under ch 2 space, ch 2, 3 dc in the end chain.
Row 3: Ch 4, turn, 2 dc in first dc, * ch 2, 3 dc under ch 2 space, repeat from * to center ch 2 space, (ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) under center ch 2 space, * ch 2, 3 dc under ch 2 space, repeat from * to end, ch 2, 3 dc in the end chain.
REPEAT ROW 3 FOR PATTERN.
Work even in pattern for a total of 28 rows.
LAST ROW: Work 1 row of shell stitch on top of piece as follows: 5 dc in end ch, * 1 sc in dc of the row BELOW, 5 dc in end ch of the row below, repeat from * across.
FRINGE OTHER 2 SIDES: To make fringe wrap yarn around a 6" piece of cardboard. Cut one end. Holding 6 pieces together, slip knot the fringe around each ch 2 space.
Block with a damp cloth if necessary.
