High Availability/High Density Compute Platform

With CCPU's new HAHD architecture, the CompactPCI bus is replaced with Ethernet links, dramatically increasing bandwidth, programming simplicity, and reliability, as well as allowing the backup CPU to communicate freely with the I/O cards, permitting sub-second failover without dropping calls. Off-the-shelf CP1500s can function as I/O cards, dramatically increasing system resources. The basic architecture provides ten times the number of ports of other architectures, and is vastly more scalable.
