Welcome to the Northern California Velodrome Association website.

The Northern California Velodrome Association (NCVA), a non-profit volunteer group, administers the cycling programs at the Hellyer Park Velodrome located in San Jose, California. Membership in the NCVA is open to anyone interested in keeping the track program going.

The NCVA Monthly Board Meetings in 2001
The board meets every 3rd Thursday of each month, at Hobee's Restaurant - 4224 El Camino Real, Palo Alto. The meetings will begin promptly at 7:00 pm, with minutes and agenda items sent to hellyer@topica.com monthly. If you can not make these meetings, please let us hear your ideas.

You may contact the velodrome at (408) 226-9716 or send e-mail and we will do our best to answer your questions.

Directions to the Track
Getting to the Hellyer Park Velodrome is easy. The track is located just off of Highway 101 at the Hellyer Ave. exit. From the 680/280/101 interchange take 101 south for 5 miles to the Hellyer Ave exit. At the bottom of the off-ramp turn right. At the stop sign go straight into Hellyer Park and follow the signs to the velodrome. The spectator gate is located on the south end of the velodrome ( from the parking lot walk counter clock-wise around the track to get to the gate). The Santa Clara County Parks Dept. charges a $4 vehicle entrance fee to get into the park.
