The Moose Is Loose
After telling reporters in New York that he was insulted by the Rangers offer of $4 million for one year, Mark Messier has decided to sign with the Vancouver Canucks for a reported 3 year deal between $18 - 20 million dollars.

A week ago, sources cited that the Canucks have offered Messier $18 million over 3 years and the Canuck top brass all played a key role in bringing the Moose back to Canada! Messier told reporters that money was not the deciding factor, but coming back to Canada to play hockey. He started his wonderful career in Edmonton where he won 5 Stanley Cups for them before moving on to New York.

Ohlund Leafs It
When Toronto signed Mattias Ohlund to a big contract offer sheet, it stunned the Canucks and especially GM Pat Quinn. He never backed off the table and said all along, he would match any offer that came his way. Toronto did try to make a deal before the offer sheet was signed, but Pat Quinn did live up to his name - "Stand Pat!"

WANTED: Writers
Writers For Hire The "page" is currently looking for people interested in writing articles for this site. There are no rules to this and these articles, or opionized editorials does not have to be Canuck or Grizzlie related (best), just as long as they are sport related.

There is one exception - the articles or editorials cannot contain any material that is grossly offensive which includes profanity, hatred, and racism. There is no obligation to write a number of articles for us, that is for you to decide.

If you only write one article for us, great!! The only thing I can't do is pay you, but your name will appear in my credits page. The articles will be part of my upcoming opinions and articles section. Who knows what could happen, maybe you will become famous and become well known.

Canuck's New Wail
New Canuck Logo On Tuesday June 3, Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment officially unveiled their new logo and uniforms for the Vancouver Canucks. This was no surprise to anyone in Vancouver as the logo was leaked earlier on the internet and already, most give it the thumbs down!

The Rumor Mill
Canuck Rumors:
In a recent prediction made by the "Hockey News" editorial about Mike Keenan taking over after three consecutive one game winning streaks by Tom Renney, this sounds a little off, but don't be surprised if the Canucks don't move Corey Hirsch, but possibly Alexander Mogilny. Contract talks have been stale and Canuck brass don't seem to be in a hurry.

Grizzlie Rumors:
With the regular season starting relatively soon, look for a dramatic improvement over last season in the win column! Antonio Daniels showed flashes of being a number four pick by dishing out a lot of passes to Big Country and Shareef Abdur-Rahim!
The DEPARTMENTS

Canuck Page: Do the Canucks really look like contenders or pretenders? Can Messier really make a difference? Well see.

Grizzlie Page: The page will disapear from ACSports as I will be launching the new Grizzlies page at another server! Keep posted for lastest information.
