McCall's Stitchery, Motifs in Crochet, Vol. III, 1972

Crocheter's favorite motif, the granny afghan square, is used for a perky cap and decorates the ends of a matching scarf. Crown of cap is a hexagon to which a ring of six squares is sewn. For newsboy cap, add the single crochet peak, or omit for a beret!
