HTTP is short for
Hyper Text Transfer Protocol. HTTP is the
protocol the
World Wide Web uses to transfer files and web pages. When your browser
accesses a web server, it's using HTTP protocol to get instructions.
That's why you see the site listed in the address bar as:
http://www.worldstart.com
and not:
www.worldstart.com
The http:// tells
the browser that it's accessing a web page.
