As you politely say NO to their question, and carry on ordering - they ask you again for the next item on your order....and the next!!!! AGHH! If I wanted large - I would bloody ask for large! Simply print out the badges (a colour printer is best), cut it out and put a safety pin (not included) on the back stuck with sticky tape......and haway you go! So if these young cinema and fast food staff can read - then it should prevent the hassle!!!! I have tested out the badges recently and they do work. Every trip to the cinema was a chore as I had to explain why I only wanted a medium cola instead of a large one......I even got told off one time by the spotty ticket collector as I walked into the screen, as he heard my imitation of the girl on the food counter - his response of 'she is only doing her job' just wound me up even more....But I didn't bite - as you cant hit kids now can you! And to prove to you that she is really posing for the Le-Monte campaign then I have blown up her tits (not literally) to show the detail! WAHEY! The badges aren't fool proof though - a week ago the young girl still asked if I wanted to go large.......as she obviously hadn't seen the badge (or was too young to read). I am going to send my idea to the cinema chains to ask for their comments on their insistence to try and get more money out of us by trying to get a large item instead of a small/medium - and ask them to train their staff to look for our badges so that any embarrassment is avoided! Lets just hope that other shops don't start following the cinemas idea of asking if you want Large when you try and buy something......... just imagine a lass going into a clothes shop, selecting a size medium.....and getting asked if she wants a Large........I think that would cause a fight, as they are obviously suggesting she is fat.
