God Form Table

When determining shape features, the player can roll on the original table as presented in the Nightspawn RPG, page 103, or he may roll on this one, or make selections from both.

The Nightspawn may have had a high self esteem, or was a student of ancient civilizations. His Morphus from contains attributes commonly associated with the ancient gods. It may well be that some on the Ancient gods themselves were really based on Nightspawn.

Note: This table was never meant to be serious. I wrote it after reading the Real Men for Nightspawn page that mentioned this would be the favorite table for Munchkin players.
  • 01-10% Animal Head: A trait commonly associated old Egyption gods. Roll on the animal table and take the head of the animal trait.

  • 11-20% Physical Perfection: From the Unearthly Beauty table.

  • 21-30% Personal Weapon: Whenever the Nightspawn takes on his Morphus gains an ancient weapon. Many old Nightspawn who were soldiers find that their favorite sword remains by their side for all eternity. This weapon is supernatural in strength and can be chosen from any single piece ancient weapon. The appropiate W.P. skill becomes known whenever in Morphus form if it is not already known. The weapon is actually a piece of the Nightspawn and dissolves if he dies or takes his Facade form.

  • 31-40% Godly Charisma: The Nightspawn has an aura of believability when in his Morphus. M.A. bonus +4 (minimum of 17).

  • 41-50% Personal Armor: The Nightspawn's Morphus is suited in powerful gilded armor (really his skin.) Bonus of 4D6x5 S.D.C., but has a problem sneaking around -20% to Prowl.

  • 51-60% Godly Proportions: The Nightspawn's Morphus is of heroic proportions. Bonus of +1 foot tall (minimum of height 6'4"), +2D4x10 S.D.C., +1D4 P.S.,+1D6 P.E.

  • 61-70% Godly Wisdom: The Nightspawn's Morphus extraordinarily wise. When in his Morphus the gains +2D4 I.Q. (minimum 19) and gains the skills to speak and read one ancient language at 98%. These bonuses apply only in Morphus form.

  • 71-80% Word Of The Gods: The Nightspawn has a distinctive, booming voice. It is impossible to speak softly in Morphus, but at least he never gets ignored. Whenever the Nightspawn speaks in Morphus form all around him in a 50 foot radius will hear him clearly. Bonus of +30% to Intimidate. +3 to Horror Factor.

  • 81-90% Combination of Two: Roll again twice ignoring any roll above 80 or if a result is duplicated.

  • 91-100% Combination of Three: Roll again three times ignoring any roll above 80 or if a roll is duplicated.
