Season 1998/1999

Short Program:

"P.M. Undercover" composed and performed by "The Rotosonics"

Duration: 2:42 min

That piece of music has been developed in cooperation with the band "The Rotosonics". The letter "P." stands for Peggy and "M." stands for Mirko. We tried to synchronize the title to our program so that the music supports our skating elements. So we could emphasize our strong points like our side-by-side pirouette. We hope we were successful.

Free Skate:

several pieces from the soundtrack to the movie "Broken Arrow"

Duration: 4:50 min

The free skate dealt with a special theme: "Violance against woman".
We did intend to put a signal. With our choreography we tried to draw the attention to that subject which did shock and touch us very much. We were aware that we could not help directly but with the performances we tried to make this subject known to the wide public. Unfortunately it exists more then we think.

Show program:

"Ich dreh' mich um dich" by Herbert Grönemeyer

"Strong enough" by Cher

Free program shortened to a show program

"Wind beneath my wings" by Bette Middler

Season 1997/1998

Short Program:

"Preludin Fugue", soundtrack "Rush", performed by Eric Clapton

Duration: 2:40 min

Free Skate:

"Taj Mahal" from the soundtrack to "Last Dance"

Duration: 4:30 min

For that free skate we choose a theme: Life and Death.

"Life" did stand for the birth of Peggy's son Michel in 1995 and "Death" referred to an accident in which Mirko experienced life threatening injuries.

"Bis ans Ende der Welt" by Udo Lindenberg

"Jail House Rock" and "Hey Bartender" by Blues Brothers
