January 21 2002: Added the worm cuticle in VRML on the achievements page
December 2002: Added an example of how a cell could be represented in VRML once it has been reconstructed from slices with our outliner applet . It is not actually a cell that is represented here but a reconstructed sphere. We are still waiting for consecutive slices to be generously given to us in the upcoming months.
October 21 2002: Finished the first prototype for the outliner applet . This applet will allow the tracing of cells in slices. This process is repeated over several consecutive slices and the result is a VRML file containing the 3D data for displaying a cell. We hope to use this information to simulate the worm at a later stage of this project.
July 2001: Created this web site. This site will be mainly maintained by Jacques Kerner, and intends to present the achievements of the Mind Uploading Research Group with respect to the Nematode Upload Project to the rest of the interested scientific community.
