Steam on Saturday - Every Saturday

Take a majestic ride on the only regular steam hauled main line passenger train operating in Australia. Our fully restored R-Class steam engine "Spirit of Bendigo" travels between Melbourne and Warrnambool every Saturday.

Experience the magic of steam travel and enjoy a magnificent day out by combining your trip with one of our fabulous day tours. The "Spirit of Bendigo" operates our normal Saturday morning service out of Melbourne and returns from Warrnambool later in the evening.

* Valid concession cards only. Senior card holders are not entitled to concession travel on a Saturday.

^ Two children under 15 may accompany each full fare paying adult at the family saver fare of $5 return. Additonal children, or children accompanied by pension voucher holders must pay the concession fares. Children aged under 4 do not require a rail ticket.
