The Hungarian Final was held on February 24th at the TV studios of MTV in Budapest, with Istvan Vago as host. The winner was chosen by 5 regional juries situated around Hungary. Hungary were rather unlucky in the pre-selection. They got the same amount of points as Finland did, but were eliminated as Finland had a higher top vote.
