Comparative Literature Studies is a journal devoted to the comparative research in literary history, the history of ideas, critical theory, studies between authors, and literary relations withing and beyond the Western tradition.

One of its regular issues every two years will concern East-West relationships and will be edited in conjunction with members of the College of International Relations at Nihon University. CLS does not publish notes and encourages submissions over 15 pages.

CLS is published at The Pennsylvania State University under the auspices of the Department of Comparative Literature.

CLS has joined Project Muse. Please visit us there for full articles. You can also reach us at the Pennsylvania State University Press.
