All
FAIRFIELD SCHOOLS HAVE EXEMPLARY TAAS RATINGS!
Exemplary is the top rating possible in the Texas Education
Agency Accountability Summary, TAAS. This rating means the
school has at least 90% passing in each subject area of the
TAAS exam by all students and each of the four student groups;
1 percent or less drop out rate; and at least 94 percent attendance
rate.
Fairfield
is located in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School
District, the largest "Recognized" district in all
of Texas. To earn this prestigious rating from the Texas Education
Agency, a district must achieve an attendance
rate of 94% or higher, a dropout rate of 3.5% or less, and
TAAS passing rates of 80% on all tests for the entire student
body as well as all subgroups. Students benefit from a wide
array of challenging academic and extracurricular activities
and from a low overall student/teacher ratio of 22:1. Seventy
two percent of Cy-Fair High School graduates go on to attend
college. Fairfield students attend Ault Elementary, Arnold
Middle School, and Cy-Fair High School. Ault Elementary is
located inside Fairfield, and Arnold Middle and Cy-Fair High
Schools are just minutes away. All three schools have
