This Survivors fan trip will include tours around Mad Dog sites in Monsal Dale and Ilam — visiting all known Derbyshire shooting locations for the season three classic, and, hopefully, confirming some outstanding new discoveries.

Negotiations are underway to secure access to some interior shooting locations not yet visited by fans. The two-day trip will also offer a tour around the nearby "plague village" of Eyam — source of inspiration for writer Don Shaw's classic season two episode ‘Greater Love’ — including a visit to the fascinating Eyam plague museum.

There should be plenty to entertain both Mad Dog old-hands and first-timers — all of whom are welcome to join the fun for all, or just some, of the two days.

The trip is free, but fans will need to pay their own travel, accommodation and other expenses (including a small museum entry charge).

Latest information will be published on this new Mad Dog website.

Over the coming weeks, this website will expand to offer a fully illustrated guide to Mad Dog locations — both in Derbyshire and in the Severn Valley, and a wealth of information about the episode and its production.

Trip organiser, Rich Cross, can be contacted here.
