CHATSWORTH, Calif. - June saw some major changes in performer Jessica Drake’s private and professional lives.
Early in the month, Drake and her longtime significant other, Simon Wolf Productions contract performer/director Evan Stone, tied the knot near Lake Tahoe, Nev. Later in the month, she and Sin City Entertainment agreed to go their separate ways after two years.
"My contract was up on May 31 and after having been with Sin City for two years, I am looking forward to working with other directors and other companies," Drake told AVN. "I sincerely wish them the best."
Sin City publicist Scott Stein said, "basically, her contract expired and we both decided to go in different directions. I’ve got to stress that our decision to not renew her contract was totally amicable."
Stein said Sin City is looking for a new contract girl to add to its stable.
"We’re engaged in a nationwide talent search right now we have a few promotions coming up and I must say, it’s been encouraging," he said.
Drake, meanwhile, wasted no time seizing on other opportunities, including signing on as a reoccurring lead in Simon Wolf’s Magic Sex trilogy.
AVN Hall Of Fame director Bud Lee started production on the trilogy’s debut The Sorcerer’s Gate in late June.
