Formation of the UNION

 

The Idea of forming a Union to unite the Youth Activities Centers began in 1992 when 12 Centers Participated in a football tournament in Amari Refugee Camp.  Over the next five months many meetings were held and By-Laws were agreed to by 16 of the 19 Refugee Camp of the west Bank.  These By-Laws defined the relationship between the Union and the Youth Centers and confirmed the procedures of the Union.  The first election on the Union were held in 1993 following the acceptance of the By-Laws by the remaining three Youth centers
