We welcome you to the new home of the Shaytar system: Stardance. Those of you who have visited our site before will find much of the same material still here. Our poems and stories are available in A River of Blue. Our artwork is available in Fire on the Breeze. Our social commentary, rants and raves, are available under Up on a Soapbox. New to this site is the Gatefield section: the gateway to introductions to our worlds.
What we're going to talk about, what we live is Empowered Multiplicity. Being empowered is about taking responsibility for your own life, about learning to care for your own household/system, about teamwork and cooperation, about healthy boundaries and standing strong against those who would use us or abuse us. Multiplicity, to us, is simply the reality of many individuals sharing one physical body.We are not disordered, we are not mentally ill. In the earth world, we have a Bachelor's Degree in English and a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, co-own our own website design business, and are owned by a cat. We are a high-functioning group of individuals who just happen to all share one body.
We're going to get political here. We're going to air opinions and raise discussions that are unpopular and probably unsettling to many (to say the least). We refuse to pull any punches, to put warnings or spoilers or disclaimers on our views. We're going to talk about our realities, and if that makes you uncomfortable, makes you question your reality, well, that's your issue. The universe is infinitely more complex than the narrow "human" mind can comprehend. It never hurts to try and expand your horizons.
