March 2003
The whole UK experienced mean temperatures well above average,
with day times exceptionally above average. Most places were
also very dry and exceptionally sunny.
Many stations broke their exisiting March sunshine records.
The temperature at Altanharra rose from -9°C to 18°C on the
17th, the greatest diurnal rise in temperature for Scotland
in March.
