WizardWorks to release pool game next month | |
by Jason Ocampo |
WizardWorks plans on releasing its 3D pool simulation, Real Pool, next month. Calling it "the most realistic pool game ever," WizardWorks says the game incorporates photo-realistic graphics, sophisticated physics, and multiplayer capability. It will feature six games, including 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Straight, Rotation, Carom (Spanish) Billiards, and Bumper Pool. The game’s physics will take into account factors such as speed, friction, top-spin, side-spin, bottom-spin, banking, and collisions. It will have a retail price of $19.99. The last pool game released for the PC was VR Sports’ Virtual Pool 2, which appeared last year. In addition, Psygnosis is currently working with KASSON Manufacturing, a pool table manufacturer, on an upcoming pool game scheduled for next year. |
