The Transmitter of Terror! Finally: this is an award from Jamie McGazza for my picture, poem, and all 'round genius!

IT'S APT that my website is crispy.horstedkeynes.com, as all over the internet, my name is Crispy. In some places, Crispy is "that guy who spell checks our stuff". In some places, Crispy is "that guy who truly sucks at this online game". But, in only one place on the internet does the name Crispy strike fear into the hearts of men. No, not www.potatoesandpigs.com (and anyway, I said men); it is, of course, at The Panic Attack Fan Site, or PAFS.

YOU SEE, I'm a huge fan of BBC 2's Robot Wars, and I'd love to enter, but I lack certain, how do you say, 'skills'. One of these is engineering ability. The second is the ability to save up enough pocket money. However, this doesn't matter on the web, where I just design the best darn killer robot I can, and set them into battle against other 'vapourbots' as they are known. The tournament of terror is the Fantasy Robot War, or FRW, run by Jamie, PAFS' webmaster. The FRW is currently in it's 4th series.

The robots that I enter are affectionately known as the Eclipse trilogy; however, they are far from affectionate. Any fans of Robot Wars reading this will undoubtably have heard of the awesome Razer, Tornado, and Wheely Big Cheese. The weaponry of the Eclipse trilogy is like a cross between the three. Tornado's 'paint stripper' spinning drum is mounted on the end of a Razer-esque crushing claw, which has been mounted on a body similar to WBC. It's also been mounted on a body just like Razer's own, but that was way back in Series 2.

THERE IS information on the Eclipse Trilogy on the many pages of this website. There's a news page with all of the latest information on the Eclipse trilogy's performance in FRW. Also, there are pages devoted to each specific robot, complete with statistics, pictures, and battle history. There's also a vote, games page, forum, and finally, there are links pages, separated into General and Robotic Combat links. General are some of my favourite 'sites, and Robotic Combat are Robot Wars, FRW, and Battlebots sites of note.

I HOPE that you enjoy your visit to my website; comments of any type can sent either via the formmail, or using plain ol' fashioned e-mail. Bon appetite!
