Walt Disney Pictures' Snow Dogs and The Count Of Monte Cristo from Disney's Touchstone arm were recently screened by FAB's evaluators. Snow Dogs was found to be an inspired but uneven mix of comedy and dramatic elements. The advertisements for the film were found to be misleading. It seems some who viewed the film expected it to be a"talking dog" movie, only to discover the widly advertised "talking" scene was in fact a dream sequence within the film. The umpteenth version of The Count Of Monte Cristo was graded favorably and described as exciting and well-acted, but the PG-13 rated subject matter was ruled too strong to be considered family-friendly.
