At ITL Cancer Clinic we use mainstream and alternative medicines to treat cancer aggressively with few or no side effects.
The core treatments at ITL are state of the art immune therapies to train the patient's own immune system
to recognize and destroy tumor tissue. Our team of M.D., and Ph.D. scientists offer the most
advanced immune treatments for cancer.
These treatments are similar to those offered experimentally at some of the world's leading cancer treatment centers,
including the National Institutes of Health, Dana Farber Cancer Center, the Mayo Clinic, M.D. Anderson, and Duke University.
The major difference is that at ITL no person receives a placebo.
We rely heavily on Cancer Vaccines to stimulate a patient's own immune system to recognize and destroy tumor cells.
We utilize the following strategies in an overall individualized cancer treatment program:
Dendritic Cell Therapy
Heat Shock Protein Therapy
Cytokines
Photodynamic Light Therapy
Immuno-Augmentive Therapy
Cachexia Vaccine (to help prevent wasting syndrome)
The types of tumors that, in our experience, respond best to these types of immune treatment are:
Breast Cancer
Prostate Cancer
Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Skin Cancer
Malignant Melanoma
Colon Cancer
Ovarian Cancer
Cervical cancer
Multiple Myeloma
Mesothelioma
Renal cell cancer (kidney cancer)
Bladder Cancer
Pancreatic Cancer
Basal Cell Carcinoma
Non-Hodgkin's Lymphomas
Head and Neck Cancer
Each treatment plan is customized to the person with cancer. In addition in immune therapy we provide angiogenesis inhibition (blocking new blood vessels that feed tumor), apoptosis inducing agents (help tumor cells to commit suicide), and cytotoxic agents that kill tumor cells while not destroying normal cells, including photodynamic therapy (a dye made from chlorophyll accumulates in the tumor, and a light is applied to activate the dye to kill the tumor).
Before becoming a patient at ITL, your medical records should be faxed to 242-352-3201. The doctors will evaluate your current radiology and blood tests to determine if you are a candidate for treatment.
Immuno-Technologies Cancer Clinic (ITL) is located 30 minutes (by plane) from Miami in Freeport, Bahamas. The Clinic in the research center is directed by Dr. John Clement.
