16mm Blackhawk Films Collection

Blackhawk Films pioneered home movie collecting for over 50 years. Although the founders have passed on and the operation left Davenport, Iowa, in the mid-80s, the Blackhawk name and reputation for quality lives on. The Blackhawk 16mm library is currently owned by film archivist David Shepard and Festival Films is an authorized distributor.

Brand new lab prints may take 3 to 4 weeks to print. All prints are made from original 16mm negatives or from the best surviving materials. Because of the licensing agreement, copyrighted Hal Roach titles are restricted to the USA and Canada.

May 8, 2004 Update: Prices will go up soon since film stock prices have risen in the last four years. We can not guarantee how long new 16mm prints will be available. Order now!
