From one of our Members:

Hi --This is to let you know that my "Letter to the Editor" was published in the San Marcos Daily Record [San Marcos, TX] on sunday, August 3, 2003, on page 4A. I also asked for it to be sent to the Austin American Statesman, but have not seen or heard if it was published there.

The only reason I knew that it had been published so soon was that I received a call from someone I don't know (she left a message), wanting to get involved in the movement. Hopefully, she went back through the letter and found the URL, and actually did get involved, and hopefully there were other like-minded individuals who got
involved because of my letter.

As we say in Spanish, "Viva la causa."
