GLAMOUR Magazine Announces the 2003 'Women of the Year'
NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- GLAMOUR magazine's Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive and Vice President and Publisher Suzanne Grimes announced today the 14th Annual GLAMOUR Women of the Year honorees. The 14th Annual GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards, exclusively sponsored by L'Oreal Paris, honor extraordinary and inspirational women from a variety of fields, including entertainment, business, sports, music, science/medicine, education and politics. The awards will take place Monday evening at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Dr. Julie Gerberding -- The first female director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, she ensures that Americans get the protection they deserve. Award presented by Anna Deveare Smith. Lynne Cox -- World-renowned swimmer whose record-setting feats bridge gulfs between nations.
